Check out this story . The Missus explains these books have been out since she was in 10th grade, but the story refers to college exams. Unfortunately, the authorities closed the schools numerous times in the 1990s, and would get rid of all teachers who didn't sign loyalty oaths. This means they must report to the authorities any students who seem curious about democracy. So there was a great purge of teachers. Newer instructors, picked by the regime, are arguably not all qualified to do their jobs. Those who actually are qualified face an uphill battle, education-wise. The lack of continuity has made it hard for students to pick up where they left off. The regime keeps a close eye on the universities, since all movements to change the government have originated on campuses. So, it is sad that they haven't paid more attention to educating for Burma's future. |

Just a theory here. The KitchenAid ice cream attachment costs upwards of $80. As with all Kitchenaid attachments, this seems steep for an accessory. I'm thinking, is there a ton of difference between the flatbeater and the ice cream attachment beater? I'd like to try immersing the entire unit in ice (not up to the motor) with some rock salt and taking it from there. For a little less money than the ice cream maker, they have another item for whipping cold cream and stuff. I would want a lot more coverage for the bowl. I'm sucking at image layout. Flat Beater

I've long admired Paul Watson and the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. Presently, they have taken a stand against Japanese "scientific studies" which had targeted over 900 whales for killing. After being "studied", the whales are sold for meat in Japanese markets. This is an obnoxious abuse of "science". More here. |

I provided Ralph's (really Kroger, who now owns them) with the following feedback this morning:
CUSTOMER COMMENTS: I purchased the Kroger stomach relief NDC 30142-302-34.
The security label had been stuck vertically over the left panel of the label - Drug Facts (continued), Directions and Other Information. When I lifted the security tag, it partially tore the label, which makes it impossible to read all of the dosage information. I can generally figure it out and don't need as much as it recommends, so I'm not asking for help with that, but it raises some real concerns about where you're putting security labels on any drug item or anything with hazardous ingredients and allergy alerts. I think you should come up with a different way of dealing with this - smaller security tags, or just a clear placement policy.
I'll try to get a photo of it uploaded soon. |
